I was reading a list of Super Bowl winners from the onset of the game, and was wondering which team has won the most Super Bowls. It appears it is the San Francisco 49ers, the Dallas Cowboys, and the Pittsburg Steelers have each won the Super Bowl five times. The website, Wikipedia, has listed the Super Bowl winners in a handy table that gives the winners year by year. This year the Super Bowl game will be held in Glendale, a western suburb of Phoenix.
Since my husband and I live in Phoenix, we have decided to have a party at our home to celebrate a different type Super Bowl winners, none of which will ever get into Wikipedia. We are going to have a contest to see who can bring the best salsa and creamy dips for our Super Bowl party, which does two things for us: it creates some good entertainment and competition, and it gets us off the hook for cooking up a bunch of dips and buying salsas. We will provide the chips for our guests, pita, potato, and tortilla, and hunt for the next Super Bowl winners that may get featured on a recipe website but never an NFL one.
