There has been much controversy stirred up in the bowl of the NFL regarding Super Bowl Winners the NY Giants and whether or not the fix was in during the last game of the season last year. Many people say that the refs hammered the Pats to get back at them for cheating. Others say that the fix was in from the start and that the Giants were going to be Super Bowl winners no matter what played out. Perhaps this is why Belichick walked off the field in disgust with a minute left to play as the Giants went on to become Super Bowl winners by a mere late game field goal.
However, I just think that the Patriots got beat for a change. Come on, they won three this decade; three out of four is not bad, especially considering how the games in the NFL play out—you never know who is really going to win. I personally love the Pats and the Giants, but it was nice to see an upset for a change. There is a good potential that these two Super Bowl winners teams could rematch this year in the big game. I would love to see that—and I am sure there are many out there who will agree with me.
